PROPERTY MAINTENANCE FOR CHA OWNED AND MANAGED UNITS
The Cheyenne Housing Authority Maintenance Department maintains over 500 rental units in Cheyenne, Laramie, and Pine Bluffs. The CHA Maintenance Department responds to service requests, prepares units for new tenants, and administers contracts to effectively maintain its owned and managed properties.
General Overview and Request for Service
All service requests are received by an answering service to ensure that calls are properly received and recorded, and that appropriate service is dispatched. Each call is logged and a corresponding work order is generated. We attempt to timely respond to all service requests. Normal business hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday except holidays. Call received after 12:00 P.M. are scheduled the next working day.
After-hours requests for maintenance are accepted for emergencies only. Emergencies are defined as an issue that is an immediate threat to the life or safety of the resident or property. After hours calls that are not emergencies will be charged to the tenant at overtime rates as per the schedule of charges.
