SENIOR PROGRAMS

Who We Are

Laramie County Senior Services originated out of a need to assist the elderly of our community and focus on care for the whole person.  Laramie County Senior Services, a program of the Cheyenne Housing Authority, has been serving the needs of the elderly in Cheyenne since 1972, and in Laramie County since 1974.

Cheyenne Housing Authority is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Cheyenne City Council. It is the Board’s responsibility to administer all senior programs undertaken by Laramie County Senior Services. In addition to the Board of Commissioners an Advisory Council comprised of dedicated community members provides advice to senior programs.
