TENANT CHARGE NOTIFICATION PROCESS
In the event that a tenant is charged for Maintenance Service, the CHA will send a formal notification of the charge to the tenant along with a copy of the work order. The notification will explain that the amount is due with the next month’s rent payment, unless:
- the tenant disputes the charge by requesting an informal review, or
- the tenant requests a repayment agreement (Promissory Note). The Promissory Note can divide the repayment into equal installments of no less than $ 50 over a twelve month period of time.
