The Resident Services Program (RSP) was created by the CHA Board of Commissioners with the intent of connecting our elderly/disabled residents with community resources and enhancing the sense of community within those properties. The RSP organizes regular activities for the residents including monthly birthday parties, resident meetings, special activity days, a monthly newsletter, and many other events that keep the residents active and involved.
The RSP program has successfully introduced much of the community to our residents and housing developments. The schools, the Boys & Girls Club, Women’s Civic League, churches and other organizations have helped in a variety of other ways to enhance the lives of our residents through the RSP program.
The RSP program is funded primarily by the CHA Operating Budget and local fundraising.
